Planning together with Huddl

Learn how suggestions, reactions, plans, RSVPs, chat, calendars, and notifications work together.

What is the difference between a suggestion and a plan?

Suggestions introduce possible places and times. A concrete plan pairs a place with a time and can receive RSVPs. Suggesting an option does not automatically mean you are going.

Is a reaction the same as an RSVP?

No. A reaction expresses a preference, while an RSVP answers whether you are going to a specific plan. Check RSVPs when you need an attendance count.

Does huddl replace my group chat?

It does not need to. Keep using the channels your group enjoys; Huddl gives planning decisions and logistics a shared home. There is also chat attached to the huddl for relevant discussion.

Can I use my calendar?

Huddl offers a calendar subscription for plans you have marked Going. A compatible calendar app can display the feed, and that app controls its refresh timing. Keep the subscription link private and check Huddl for last-minute changes.

Will everyone receive every update?

Notifications depend on preferences, permissions, connectivity, and device behavior. For urgent changes, ask for acknowledgment and contact anyone already traveling directly.
